Avital Kaye-Tzadok wrote her doctoral dissertation on resilience and posttraumatic growth among adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the The Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare at Hebrew University. In addition to teaching courses in program evaluation at the Bob Shapell School of Social Work, she served for many years as chief coordinator of the "Girls for Girls" Mentoring program, which trains formerly at-risk adolescent girls to become mentors to girls currently at risk.
